The main aims of the Ganga Mata Charitable Eye Hospital is to provide excellent eye and dental treatment and care services to all sections of the society without any extraneous consideration. To fulfill this goal following programmes are being run in this hospital
- Free treatment to the poor and under privileged and others at nominal cost.
- To provide high quality medical services to the people living at distant places, rural and tribal areas.
- To co-operate in the national blindness control programme of the Government of India by working for prevention and control of eye diseases.
- Holding weekly eye camps at the outer reaches and the inaccessible rural areas, examining the patients in situ and bringing the operable cases to the base hospital for cataract surgery. The patient is provided free boarding and lodging besides free to and fro transportation, surgery and medicines.
- To educate people regarding prevention and control of eye ailments
- To do free dental and eye checkup of school children and to provide vitamin A tablets to them wherever required.

GANGA MATA CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL is an important part of the chain of charitable works run by GANGA MATA CHARITABLE TRUST established in 1993 with determination to provide the best eye care facility at lowest and affordable cost to the Antyodaya. A 60-bed hospital with state of art facility is operational on 13th April 1993 under the supervision of dedicated trusties, specialist doctors and hardworking staff who provide examination and personal care through Modern medicine to the patients. With time, hospital continued its work in human welfare by making necessary changes in the interest of patients. After so many years of human welfare services trust decided to take steps to improve it further. In this context hospital get certified by ISO in 2020 and focused on taking the facility provided to patient to higher level.
GMCEH upgrade the standards of patient caring through Accreditation by National Accreditation Board of Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) in 2023, till now the hospital is committed to provide the best health benefits to the patients by following all the norms and rules sets by quality councils.
GANGA MATA CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL is located in heart of the city at Saptrishi Link Road, Bhupatwala, Haridwar (100M from the SHANTIKUNJ and about 200M from BHARAT MATA MANDIR).
